The initial release of the AVO LE05, introduced in 2005, came in simple boxes with taped edges and a stamped logo. These cigars were packed in factory bundles and sold without bands, resulting in minimal packaging from Davidoff. In the 2018 edition, the company made some enhancements. They added not just one, but two bands to the cigars. Additionally, the packaging underwent a transformation, featuring new boxes with an acrylic, sliding lid. The boxes were designed with trays that allowed retailers to showcase five boxes at once, offering a more visually appealing presentation.
